So why do we have bases named after Confederate traitors?
We should name one of the Southern bases Fort Benjamin Butler

by honoring heroes from the traitorous side. It didn't work worth a damn. Dixie never thought it lost the war, they were robbed of the victory that was their due. Bless their hearts.
I suppose we should count ourselves lucky they didn't stick us with Fort Nathan Bedford Forrest.

In all fairness, Fort Knox really should be called Fort Jello.
Is Knox gelatin even still being made?
And, Ft. Campbell should be Ft. Progresso.
