the wall to wall advertising in Colorado would drive me nuts.

As it is it's almost impossible to watch Jeopardy here because of all the Linda McMahon ads. That lying hag is going all out with really bizarre attacks to try to save her latest campaign from it's near certain doom next week.

I can't imagine any toddler with that much of an attention span to care about politics. The only things the average 4-year old care about are playing with their toys, eating, and going to preschool. Her parents probably staged this.

That is not fake crying.

It's more likely the little girl is really tired and cranky, and blames it on the topic she is sick of hearing about. She has seen too much negative advertising. Many little kids are really sensitive to what they see on TV.
