but those are the people I grew up with and they've had 2 years to digest TFG's antics capped off by January 6 and I can't imagine too many of them are happy with the present GOP full of jellyfish pledging undying loyalty to TFG and his violent rabble.
I have to think that many will stay home and their checkbooks will stay unopened for some time to come. The GOP will have to count on tech money and hedge fund money and right now thase two groups are taking a massive financial beating.
I have been hoping for entertainment on the floor of the GOP convention for years. I think it might happen in 2024. The lunatics have finally taken over the asylum and they are not going to give up control. In past years, it was all about pwning the libs. This time it's going to be about raw, naked power.
I was never a GOP, I never had any use for them even when they said they had ideals. I thought they were decent enough, just wrong about nearly everything. After Nixon got in on the bigot vote, it has been a steady dive to hell. I think they might finlly have arrived at their destination.
