Allies of Donald Trump were so distraught over his loss in the 2020 election - and over the failure to overturn the results - that they crafted a plan to use armed contractors to seize voting machines throughout the country. This story just keeps getting worse by the day, and the public doesn't seem to appreciate the fact that the Republican Party is filled with absolute nut jobs who want to overthrow the federal government.
