Teen workers find themselves in high demand for summer hiring surge - CNBC Television



Summer time is typically peak working season for teenagers. So like most workers these days, they’re calling the shots—competitive salaries, plus more perks and flexibility. CNBC's Kate Rogers spoke to a teen and some of the businesses that are benefiting from the teen worker demand.

But by and large, they are not savvy enough to protect themselves from the intricacies nor from the depths of greed that exist in our current business climate. They will be railroaded and treated like crap even as they feel that they are 'in charge'. There is a reason that these jobs are available. Just as there is a reason some businesses prefer hiring people innocent in the ways of greed. But, working is far more important than living according to our capitalistic society. (Especially since our society is rigged so that only good little workers have any chance of surviving anyway, regardless of how decrepit their lives may be.)
