GOP Forced To Pull Ads For Being Dishonest - The 11th Hour - MSNBC

As the National Republican Senatorial Committee is gearing up to spend big bucks this campaign season, at least two ads have already been pulled for being dishonest. Aired on 06/06/2022.

I really wish she would say McConnell is lying - you know that's what republicans would say about democrats.

Too many people aren't paying close attention, it's essential to get the truth out there and repeat it as often as it takes!

it's time for the DCCC and DSCC (and any state affiliates) to fire up the "Rapid Response" squads.

Seriously.

Just take half the money spent from all the junk mailers that get sent out and hire some people to "social media" the corrections ASAP.

Reminds me when I worked on the campaign for my former congressman. One house on my "turf" for the day was a 97-year-old lady who told me she'd already voted absentee (a lot of senior citizens I visited had) so she didn't need all the mailers. She insisted that I follow her out to her garage and check out her garbage can - which was topped off with a very large pile of campaign mailers.

regarding that elderly lady, I know the feeling!!

I mean for some of the local elected folks that I don't hear from too often (and especially for offices like judges), I'll scan those mailers but then they often send out "newsletters" every once in awhile and have also been offering those electronically.

And as a note about getting something "electronically", when they redistricted here in PA, for the first time since I moved to this area almost 30 years ago, I got "scraped" (literally am right along the changed district's line) into a different state legislative district with someone I had never heard of (although she is a Democrat). Since the courts had temporarily ruled on the mail ballots issue (again) and were late telling counties that whatever happened in the court wouldn't affect the primary, the counties (including here) were late setting up the candidate "numbers" for voting (both machine and mail ballots) and the Ward leaders were late doing endorsements, so I had gone on and voted for whoever was the incumbent in my new district before I realized who the person running against her was, and who was endorsed locally in my part of the city. The incumbent ended up losing. I had no idea until I got an email from her, although the winner is an extraordinary guy. I guess that was because so much local coverage was spent on the U.S. Senate and PA governor's race.

From .18 to .22.4 a gallon ( how do you charge a fraction of a penny?). Which is still low & we need gas taxes. Ruhle shows total gas prices in her chart, not taxes, which is what was mentioned.
