Reports Show Extent Of Trump's Bullying Of Pence To Reject Election Results - Velshi - MSNBC Prime

Ali Velshi rounds up new reporting that paints a vivid picture of the almost cartoonish extremity of Donald Trump's pressure on Mike Pence to negate the legitimate results of the 2020 election that Trump lost. Aired on 06/07/2022.

I have Mary Trump's first book and from what she says, his father bailed him out of everything. He even gave TFG jobs with titles in his successful company and paid him accordingly, but there were actually other employees there to do those jobs, early on he expected to be paid for doing nothing.

Was a first class creep. I read most of the book and was appalled about how Fred, trump’s father, treated his brother.

This, if you recall, had quite an effect on Mary.

But the Dad wanted "a killer" and his first born son didn't fit into his plans. It's a very sad story since "Freddie" turned to drinking and died young. And even that is quite deplorable. No one even went with him to the hospital, TFG went to the movies. And when Mary attempted to fulfill her Dad's last wishes, to have his ashes spread in the place that he loved, they totally ignored her and buried him in the family plot.

Reading that book, especially if one assumes that families are supposed to be about love.

I feel so lucky to have had wise, loving parents instead of the manipulative person that was Fred and the doormat mother.

I remember the part when the elder daughter was sent to school after she was told that her mother wasn't going to survive. And then she got that phone call at school and assumed she was being told that her mother was dead - and of course she'd be responsible for her 4 younger siblings. The father may have made money, but it sounded like their homelife was a nightmare.

We know that this is his greatest fear - especially getting hit with a pineapple!
