2. Not just the GOP

Tester has puffed out his chest and hooted that he won't support it. Democrats from rural states are not going to support it, pretty much. Even Bernie Sanders has enjoyed a high rating from the NRA, at least in the past, so he's going to object to parts of it.

I can't understand this, really, these guns are useless for anything but shooting at targets and hunting unarmed people.

Congressmen who still take money from the NRA need to know that a small percentage of gunloons have declared war against the American people and we are sick of it. That war needs to be over. Semi auto guns need to go. I agree that this needs to be an incremental process, but Tester and the GOP are being ridiculous.

I'm annoyed that this bill didn't computerize the gun registry. I'm annoyed that it didn't end the exemption from consumer safety laws.

Doesn't matter, the Senate will gut the bill at Republican request, then Republicans still won't vote for it. That's who they are.
