11. I saw Jared's clip yesterday at the hearing, but didn't catch the "pardons" bit of the sentence...

It was not until I heard it replayed today that I did the double-take. He was focused on amassing pardons for his fellow felons while the US government was being violently overthrown.

Later, on Deadline Whitehouse, one of Nicolle’s guests was Frank Figliuzzi — who never smiles, and when he watched Jared he couldn’t stop himself from breaking into a smile and then a grin. Among his comments was Jared reminded him of so many perps he’s dealt with — his affect, his face, his body language. Frank wanted to just say to him, “Straighten up you sniveling little —! I’m interviewing you.”

It was a moment.

That must be why I stop and listen to him since I know he's deadly serious. And I did notice that part of what Jared said and wondered about it - since I remembered that they brought in someone new just to approve his security clearance! Let's hope that he's next on the list - or did he receive a pass because he agreed to testify??
