Legal Expert Kirschner: Jan. 6 Was A Scheme Not A Crowd That Spun Out Of Control - The ReidOut

After the January 6th committee presented major findings during Thursday’s hearing, the legal case against Donald Trump and why it matters are discussed by MSNBC legal analyst Glenn Kirschner in conversation with Joy Reid. "This was a scheme,” Kirschner tells The ReidOut, “...not a riot or a crowd that got overenthusiastic and spun out of control. I can't wait to see more information in the coming public hearings about the meeting in the Oval Office between Trump, Flynn, Giuliani and Powell." Aired on 06/10/2022.

In fact, by the time that the insurrection came to pass, most of the least objectionable members of his administration and advisors had already left him...

And I read a lot, too, here on DU - it's been an important part of my education. Out in the real world, few people are as focused on what's going on as we are. Sometimes I wish I could still be like that - 9/11 woke me up - but I've gotten to the point where I need to know what's really going on, good or bad, so I'll never be blindsided again.

I was here with others during the terrible night of "shock and awe" - and was grateful to have others to commiserate with after the 2004 election, I felt sick for a week.

All about helping Saudi Arabia by "controlling" the Iraqi oil reserves.

Iraq...the most progressive/socialistic country in the ME. Why? Because Hussein stomped on Sunni/Shia/Kurd rads. But then GW fucked him...and W finished him off. Who won? Not the Iraqi people.

During the Iran/Iraq war. And the questions about why Iraq?? And the discussions about how the Iraqi people - especially children - were paying the price. Someone here had posted a photo of a little Iraqi boy launching a tiny boat in the water during a peace gathering. And the night of Shock and Awe I kept thinking of that little boy, wondering if he was alright or whether he was scared.

She made the point that January 6th wasn't a "riot" that got out of control, but that this was planned and we're learning exactly who was responsible (TFG).
