In remarks Friday, President Joe Biden tried to pin falling stocks and rising prices on Russian President Vladimir Putin and his war in Ukraine. But polling shows not all Americans are buying it.

Once upon a time at least some news organizations had people who had at least a limited grasp of economics. They’d understand that an economy recovering from a COVID recession would have price hikes as more people competed for consumer goods. They’d understand that boycotting Russian oil would restrict the available world oil supply and drive up the cost of fossil fuels on the world market.
But this is corporate media and somebody who sounds like he or she doesn’t understand dog squat about economics. Or maybe he or she thinks they’ll earn their right-wing chops and get better-paying jobs with Rupert Murdoch’s “news” outfits 
or NewsMax.
Someone wasted their chance for a good college education.
