'I think the consequences have been paid': Rep. Pete Sessions on Jan. 6 hearings - ABC News

ABC News’ Linsey Davis spoke with GOP Rep. Pete Sessions of Texas about the second Jan. 6 hearing this month and the bipartisan gun framework in the Senate.

====================

Pete Sessions is the representative for the congressional district where I live. Unfortunately, Pete is also an alum of my college alma mater and he is also on the Board of Trustees.

But she didn't FAIL to thank the piece of shit VERY MUCH for being interviewed when it was nothing but a win/win for his crop of lies to live, re-invigorated, for another day. He got away with vague accusations and grossly cherry-picked inuendo. His sort of raving undoes all the good the hearings accomplished toward informing that demographic of semi-sentient voters who "....didun nayver reuhlize whut the presidint was up to or how bayud he hayud to be to lie so much". For them its "welp, if thars new infermashun abouit the voter frawed, mehbe weed better give ol Trump credit fer seeing thangs the rite way awl uhlong. I guess ah'll jist keep on a'pullin that Republican lever next Noveymber. Caint truss no Demuhcrat".

Why is it a Democratic official can't answer questions, even as unambiguously as is humanly possible, without two dozen follow-ups trying to undermine their testimony? The very existence of the cross-examination taint's the Democrat's accurate and trustworthy testimony. On EVERY network format it's the same shit. I'm not sure she's even smart enough to realize what she just did. What they ALL do.

If a network format were to post their interviewer's questions for the audience to see (like a chyron), then assess the veracity of the responses they received from the interviewee, posting that as well, it could be entertaining, enlightening and real live TeeVee. It would be worth watching just for the novelty.

He keeps repeating the TFG big lie without actually saying TFG somehow got cheated. "Abnormalities" my ass, if he's talking about the few people who voted twice, he's talking about Republicans and he knows it.

You have my sympathy, he's been there way too long. Time for your district to get somebody who isn't such a crook.
