(47,434 posts)Was glad that the other two - gasp - managed to keep her in place.
That story about the WaPo - she was fired, wasn't she?
I will keep saying it over and over again: social media, especially twiting will bring the end of democracy, of civilization, whatever. Because twits are just mouth farts. No thoughts behind them but the damage that they cause are enormous.
OK, end rant.
Thanks, again, for posting about it.

(204,779 posts)And yes, the woman who "demanded" that both of her coworkers were "disciplined" for their respective Tweets was totally out-of-line. I agree with Bill that she should have been the one who received disciplinary action for going nutz over a joking Tweet. He wondered how the Post would handle the iconic Watergate story if it happened today. And this complaining Felicia was eventually fired... Whew!
And I do remember Krystal Ball from MSNBC in the past, and I also agree that she was my least favorite guest of the night...

(25,380 posts)populist type, but the longer Trump was in office and then with Biden's election, the less popular with audiences and less profitable. Biden being the nominee proved that the base of the Democratic Party are not progressive populists yearning for revolution (the IT WAS RIGGED accusations fell flat). Fewer people fall for that anymore.
She seems to have morphed into more of a Both Sides Lite aimed at a general audience. What she said was pretty pointless. The Young Turks have done the same thing I think. They have to criticize Republicans now, and can't go full Democrats-are-Satan populism. 2016 was peak conspiracy theory.

(228 posts)What perplexed me was her blathering about how Democrats are promoting "Big Lie" candidates. Okay, Kryssy, there's that guy in Pennsylvania. It's called strategy.
Who else was she talking about???

Glad to hear Sonmez was canned.
