I rally dont want to watch a video during a movie.
That is literally the definition of clickbait.

I hope he's right.

While the video is a news story instead of a movie, the principle is the same.
FWIW, nearly every video that is posted here can be considered as clickbait depending on your POV. That's why the titles of the videos frequently create suspense and rile emotions so that people will watch them. Answering quick questions about a video without actually discussing it is in a manner disrespectful to the work and artistry of those who produced the video.

(112,056 posts)Pardon me for respecting the work product of the people involved. It comes from being around other artists and writers who have had their work and livelihoods impacted by people that didn't respect their creativity and talent. To me, providing a short response to a video isn't much different than cropping or altering a photo taken by a Pulitzer prize winner.

This is a discussion board. One of the purpose of a "discussion" forum is to discuss things posted to it, and not play dance of the seven veils.

If there is a summary on YouTube, then I will usually include it with the video. Otherwise, I'll stick to what I've been doing when posting videos.
