Donald Trump clearly understands how devastating the televised January 6th Committee hearings are for him, and he's now raging at the networks airing the hearings and demanding "equal time." 2. I'm pretty sure the defense gets equal time in a criminal case,

5. But this is not a criminal case.

A lot of criminal behavior is being discussed in the hearing, but it is not a trial. This is an investigation by a Congressional committee in order to find out what happened on J6 and then make legislative recommendations to Congress when the hearings are done.

If Trump wants to talk, he will have to be sworn in first. Then he will get even more time to talk when he is charged with perjury because, of course he will lie. He is so divorced from truth that he can't recognize it.

7. It was a joke that if all goes as we would like, he'd get his opportunity for "equal time". I know

the hearings aren't a criminal case.

6. It's amazing that he's gotten through life, so far, without understanding how anything works

But then he never had to before because there was always someone to bail him out - first, his wealthy father - then all his legal teams. It looks like he's gone too far this time and run out of options - he expected those in public office to break the law for him. So far, those who have done his bidding have faced legal consequences - Michael Cohen, hundreds of insurrectionists who arrived at the Capitol at his invitation. And those who refused to follow his instructions this time were well aware of that. It's long past time that it was finally his turn.

8. I don't think he should get 1 blank blank blank second of free time. If he wants to yap so much,

telling his side of the story, he's got his own media thing, and he's supposedly got the money to pay for some online / TV time. Let him for it. I'm sick and tired of coddling him.

spew his lies or will they be afraid that it will put them in further legal jeopardy if they continue to perpetuate the Great Lie? Enquiring minds want to know, lol.
