And they all sat quietly, whispering to each other - while TFG kind of wandered aimlessly around, like he didn't know what to do - looked like he'd never been in a church before. Not that it would have been that difficult to look to the others to see how to behave. But he was oblivious...

8. Republican pols are just as extremist Trump in demonizing Democrats

They all take part in an effort to make election of Democrats seem like it's the end of civilization. By refusing to obstruct a Democratic electoral win, they're essentially admitting that either they're (a) willing to go along with the collapse of our society or (b) hysterically exaggerating how bad the Democrats are.

Trump isn't an anomaly in the Republican party. He's a distillation of what they stand for: lawlessness, pure acquisition of power, grand scale corruption, and the routine use of mob violence
