They refuse to prohibit weapons of war - but if there's a threat to innocent people (in this case, small children!), the police decide confronting that level of gunfire is too dangerous for them!

The cops were armed. The children were not armed.
The cops had protective gear. The kids did not have protective gear.

Every single one of those cops (except the feds who actually went in and took that lunatic out) should be ashamed of themselves. They behaved disgraceful, especially the jerk who was supposed to be in charge (Arredondo).

I'm so glad the wheels are coming off that coverup, for more reasons than one. According to Lawrence, Abbott REALLY wants the whole thing hushed up until after the election, because the truth coming out will hurt his chances. Anything Abbott wants hushed up is something that NEEDS to come out.

If it happens to give Beto a boost, so much the better!

Society was armed when these individuals signed up to be trained and take a paycheck to be the people who run towards the gunfire.

And I've been going through a cycle of both of these ever since TFG started his pathetic campaign. I actually stopped watching the news, couldn't stand to hear his offensive BS. I couldn't wait for the campaign to be over so I could start watching the news again. Instead, he completely took over the airwaves and it's still going on despite his decisive loss in 2020.

They have the best guests and explain what's going on pretty well - and Chris Jansing, who used to be our local news anchor on Channel 13, Albany, has used the term "the former guy," just like DUers do. And I also like Nicolle Wallace - she refers to him as "the disgraced twice impeached former president," so you can see why I watch her, too.

31. I want to live in Beto's America - and I'm in New York, about as far from Texas as you can get!

But back during the presidental primaries, I took that "Who Do You Side With" test - and Beto came up in my top three. So I've been paying attention and I'm desperately hoping he'll be the next Texas governor - and I regularly post his campaign videos here. Abbott is a miserable failure, people are dying on his watch - but last I checked, Beto was gaining on him. I posted this news video last Friday!
