In some of these states, we've been hearing about Florida and Texas, certain essential topics are now prohibited in public education. And this is now new. Civics needs to be on the front burner in our education system. Too many recent graduates have no idea about our government, our laws, our history - or the rest of the world. They step into the voting booth - if they vote at all - with no idea what or who they're voting for. Education is the key...
