Related: About this forumRep. Kinzinger on CNN: Leading January 6 Hearing, Pardon Requests & Former DOJ Officials' Testimony
On June 23, 2022, U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) joined CNNs 'The Lead with Jake Tapper' to discuss pardons requested by GOP members of Congress in the aftermath of the January 6th attack on the Capitol. The Congressman also discussed the testimony of former Trump DOJ officials and former President Trumps order to seize voting machines.
-----
Adam Kinzinger is a common-sense conservative who believes servant leadership, a pragmatic approach, and civil discourse are essential to resolving the issues we face today.
Currently serving his sixth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, Congressman Kinzinger proudly represents Illinois 16th Congressional District, which stretches across 14 counties in Northern Illinois. He serves as a member of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6th Attack on the U.S. Capitol. His top priorities include strengthening U.S. energy policy and making our nation less reliant on foreign resources as well as bolstering the strength of our national security both at home and abroad.
Prior to being elected to Congress, Kinzinger served in the U.S. Air Force in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. He continues to serve his country as a pilot in the Air National Guard, with the current rank of Lieutenant Colonel, and balances this service with his duties in Congress, where he works tirelessly for Illinois and for the security of our nation. From getting veterans back to work, to combatting the opioid epidemic, Congressman Kinzinger continues to fight for his constituents and stand up for America.

(205,320 posts)2. Thanks! This was a great interview!
And answers the question that's been asked here - if he'd vote for TFG again! I think that question was answered in his closing remarks during Thursday's hearing - but he sure made it clear in this interview! Yikes!
