Related: About this forumLast Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO) - Water
John Oliver discusses the water shortage in the American west, how its already impacting the people who live there, and what God has to say about it.
And here's a "bootleg" version of the show which contains John's comments on current events (the Supreme Court striking down New York's Concealed Carry Law, then taking away the Constitutional right to abortion and the resulting impacts and reaction; better names for the dogs from this year's Westminster Dog Show) It won't last long, as usual:

OP
Oh, I couldn't agree more. John Oliver's reports are always well researched.

(51,550 posts)1. Those were brilliant! 👏
The piece on Western water is the best synopsis I have ever heard on the subject, and I've been dealing with the issue on behalf of various government agencies for decades.
The one on abortion was also spot on. The decision was absolute bullshit, and we must treat it as the health emergency it is.

And of course he had to weigh in on this despicable decision. And he also uses humor to effectively make his point.

I've said this here before, and I say it again. And I'm not so sure on Los Angeles, either.
