(3,010 posts)I keep wanting the questions to be repeated over and over until it's clear she's avoiding. If her diversions work, it's frustrating. She's out of her league, but she's playing a different game where intelligence doesn't really matter. She's actually quite good at the game she's playing.

(6,804 posts)Oh, please now. Surely it's plain to see. MTG's every scream for attention is patently pathetic, a charade of misbegotten courtship writ large in amazingly awkward pornographic clarity. Within all her "Scarlett O'Hara would-be" posturing there is an ungrounded whore seeking solace, if not restitution, in conflict*. As ugly and unseemly as it is, our Washington, D. C. is unwittingly revealing the heart of the GOP. Within each of her desperate and ungainly steps toward any open door, wherein might lay moorage, relevance or acceptance, she foreshadows our national "morning after", nigh on the horizon.
*Since Xerxes invaded Greece or Napoleon, Russia, wars have always awarded prostitution. A veritable boon to the production of waste and other sewerage.
