Highly recommend Call the Midwife season 2 episode 2.5 on Netflix

IMDb: Call the Midwife: Episode #2.5

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2506248/

A poor mother of 8 in 1950s London gets pregnant for the ninth time. Emotionally charged but calmly discussed by practical and caring people in charge.

Highly recommend watching in this time post Roe V Wade. WE NEED LEGISLATION PROTECTING OUR BODIES AND OUR FREEDOM. AND CONSIDER THE MOTHERLESS CHILDREN.

But in these depressing and dangerous times it acts as a Catharsis. It actually helps wash away my anger as I try to sleep.

(Catharsis is the purification and purgation of emotions through dramatic art, or it may be any extreme emotional state that results in renewal and restoration)

But we are in some ring of Hell. Nice to have crazy nuns, nurses, and the downtrodden as company when trying to avoid nightmares.
