AOC Calls For Expulsion Of Republicans Who Asked For Pardons - Ring of Fire

During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this week, Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that the Republican members of Congress who asked for pardons from Trump should all be expelled from Congress. She reasoned that asking for a pardon is essentially an admission that a crime was committed - which is exactly what the United States Supreme Court has agreed upon in the past. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains why we need to start listening to AOC.

1. IF Matt Gaetz got a pardon from Trump it would only be for Federal Crimes

but STATE CRIMES are a whole nother thing! If he committed a crime in his STATE , he could indeed be arrested, tried and sentenced. A federal pardon does not affect State law.
