Trump's Save America PAC was paying for Cassidy Hutchinson's original lawyer. When she got her own lawyer, that's when she testified.

Republicans do not have to be the cover-up party. That’s a choice...As an institution, the party has to date made a pro-Trump cover-up of its policy.

Cassidy Hutchinson originally was represented by one of the TFG financed lawyers and didn't agree to testify until she retained her own attorney. And we know she received threats, with TFG, "loyalty" is everything.
