Fox Prime Time. I’m, sorry but this vet agrees. I could not bring myself to watch any Red, White and Blue, Jesus and God’s America and Lee Greenwood songs, and all propaganda this past weekend. All the smiling faces, flag waving and praying while bodies are being scraped and power washed off the sidewalks AGAIN does not make me proud one damn bit. I am raged at the cult, ashamed of those that will not educate and vote. My generation of vets had no legal right to vote but had a mandate to go die for the flag (war profiteers and power grabbers). Sorry if this offends, but I earned the right to express my disgust. As have so many, but that “many” is only a small percentage of the people that are Americans. Thanking me for my service has become as heart felt as a “How ya doing” “Have a nice day”, packaged greeting. Maybe walk through a Veteran’s Hospital and look at the faces of the hundreds waiting in each of the multiple Group waiting rooms. Fear, despair, near poverty, broken bodies and minds, ut still proudly wearing their colors, branches served and flags. Many with Jesus and God hats and shirts. And sadly, trump shit.
So no, I am no longer proud. All these poor veterans are being screwed, overlooked and brainwashed by Flag waving criminal cowards. And those programmed broken men and women think MTG, Boebert, Gaetz, Cruz, Tucker, Hannity, Ingrsham and Trump are worthy of being called Patriots and Fighting for democracy. Anybody think Trump Jr and his Ho or JaVanka would step into a VA Hospital and get any of that poor people stink on them.
Just not a flag waving, National Athem, stand and remove my hat kind of moment in history here.
The world see us, and so many here are blind.

7. You may have

Felt as I did as a Viet Nam era vet. The first time in our history we were looked at as murderers, baby killers and crazed people to avoid. If you had short hair you felt out of place in public and do not dare wear your military clothing. All the Bad guys in movies had that Viet Nam vet brain damaged background. That was a time Camo was a sign of a crazy lunatic war monger. It was for a while damn nice to start getting “Thank You” and V Day meals and discounts (thank you Lowes still) after Gulf War 1. I could proudly wear my hats and shirts signifying my service. But now the trajectory the country is headed takes away any pride I had as a veteran that served to defend the promise and dreams all the flag waving portrays. I sure hope we can regain the control of this country and restore pride. But this SCROTUS and Warped minded Q leaders (that title is a joke) sure diminishes much hope.
Can you comprehend military leaders in all branches have to bow to the likes of MTG, Boebert, and Gaetz, or for a while longer Cawthorn? Anytime a Congress person or Senator was near or in a room with the highest ranking officers, those officers had to say Sir, Mam and give full respect to them as higher ranking. That is sickening.
