Despite working against the Democratic President, the Democratic agenda and humanity as a whole.

He's endorsed republicons over Democrats. Taken millions from big oil, corporations and billionaires.

Yet some here are more offended by our anger at his actions than his actions. One can only wonder which side they are on.

And don't care what happens to the rest of humanity.

The oligarchs are certainly not interested in paying for climate change prevention.
The people will pay for climate change damage, financially and with their lives.

Poorer nations are already feeling the effects, droughts and flooding, and people are starving and dying. It's just a matter of time till it reaches us - it's the most essential issue of our time and we're already decades too late in addressing it.

It tells us they must feel immune from climate change disaster.

I know it is not rational on their part.

They have been buying up property around the globe they think is going to be fairly safe for them when the full S**T hits the climate fan. They have been buying up water rights and other ploys. Scamming others and holding their money tight to prepare.

Elon Musk may be promising them some off world options too. Why else would Musk put so much money into his space projects. Maybe luxury space stations or something. Musk is crazy enough to think this. Off planet luxury stations while the masses stay on the planet, work for them and deal with a planet on fire.

It may seem like a crazy idea to us, but the ultra wealthy have always known that money buys them out of any scrape or problem. It might not yet occur to them that money may not help them escape climate change disaster. Or maybe they will pull off some sort of safe haven strategy. They are certainly seem hell bent on accumulating as much wealth as possible.

Maybe the Putin types figure a world in chaos and disruption is easier to control and fleece.

They are counting on it. Think of all the land that will be available for growing crops when it gets warmer. I’d bet corporations have already purchased it with that in mind.
