late to point fingers, this individual is one that helped trump's team to ably legitimize their victory. I will never trust him for siphoning off votes by damning Hillary and our Party nor Jill Stein sitting at that Russian gathering pre-trump presidency soaking up the Russian(Putin) line toward America and siphoning off more votes enabling the Republikans and Putin to install trump as POTUS.

I am sorry if this might upset people, yet I know this to be true. 2 reasons among many for the defeat of Hilary Clinton. The e-mail BS? FBI did that for sure. edit: But water under the bridge and I did add again that. We have a job ahead of us, united, I hope.

It is a feature/artifact of our party-based systems where allegiances are stated up front and can change.

We have an essentially two-party system in the US. The (r)epuglicons have hijacked the nominally/normally "conservative" group of voters and convinced them to support something now called "illiberalism" (Jeezus - these manufactured terms are confusing - intentionally).

Bernie and the Progressives (do you have a copy of their 1979 original?) are trying to get the fairly intelligent and liberal "democrats" to look at some real social issues.

Stein (and may Nader) is just a spoiler. Other than being another face of the Pauls/libertarians she had nothing to present.

I was, sadly, led into that initial "but what about her emails". A good friend tried to tell me that I wasn't being rational, just parroting things I heard. She was right but I think a lot of us were nudged into not supporting her as vehemently as we should have.

'nuff.

cheated, because the disinformation run by republicans and Russia was massive. You all seem to have forgotten about James Comey?

I know a lot of people who were with Bernie, but when Hillary won they all, ALL, went to Hillary.

We need to stop blaming Bernie for something he didn't do, I believe trump, with the aid of Comey, cheated their way into the white house and Democrats didn't do enough to stop it.

Our problem as Democrats is that we are always reacting, never taking the initiative, we are always being careful to not offend anyone while republicans offend everyone who gets in their way. This has been said many times, Democrats have to stop going to a knife fight with a Bible, they need to come with something bigger and don't care about if they hurt republican feelings, republicans do not get hurt by anything, they just pretend and make noise about it.

Bu please, stop blaming stuff on Bernie, he fights hard for all of us and I love the fact that he doesn't mince on words, he tells it like it is. Why is it that no other Democrats is talking about Manchin like we all heard Bernie? telling the truth about the SOB?

liking Bernie more and more in recent months. I have to admit I didn’t like him in the beginning (2016) but I do now. Like you said he doesn’t mince words and tells it like it is.

and you're a Bernie buff. Okay, your right. I stick by what I saw and experienced watching Stein cosying up to the Russian dictator and Sanders he was the man...okay on the "fights hard"...

I completely disagree and I think it is time to drop the idea that Bernie had anything to do with Clinton’s defeat in 2016.

Bernie’s contesting the nomination of Biden in 2020 did not seem to hamper Biden’s election, did it?

One reason is that Biden embraced a good portion of the progressive agenda and Clinton did not, among the numerous errors she made in the course of a flawed campaign.

Also, no one other than Bernie campaigned more on her behalf other than herself and her running mate. He was number 3 campaigner

A lot of that was started by Repug trolls and bots - in an effort to deflect blame from probable Russian/Isreali voting machine interference in '16.

A deflection which, let's face it, largely worked - thanks to Big Media's picking it up.

They're like toddlers: they pick up all kinds of garbage from the ground.

Bernie is probably a better Democrat than most that have that (D) label.

He is also a champion of the people and fairness. Sometimes that doesn't fit well with certain (D) politicians.

Bernie says it exactly like it is.

There are probably a few more moles like Sinema and Manchin planted in Congress pretending to be Democrats.
