The Senate will return to work on passing the bill on Saturday. - Aired on 08/04/2022.

(45,806 posts)6. I'm glad Sinema opted to sign on, but I'm also pretty p*ssed that that small sliver of millionaires
get to keep their "carried interest" goodie AGAIN! Politicians have been promising to get rid of carried interest for many years. I and many others thought "Yeah! They're finally gonna do it this time!" Ahh well, maybe we can elect a bigger margin of Dems in November & try again next year.

that will raise more than the carried interest tax. and hopefully if the dems can pick up a couple of seats in november it can be enacted in a new tax bill
