Remember, we allied with Stalin in order to defeat Hitler. The threat is real, 2024 could be the year that the republic ends. We need all the help we can get to prevent the former guy from becoming the American Mussolini / Franco / Putin. It isn't necessary to like Cheney or forget all the bad things he has done. But, like FDR and Stalin, it is necessary to call a truce in order to defeat a much greater threat.

9. That is an excellent point and with what we're facing, we need all the help we can get.

I never thought I'd become a fan of Liz Cheney, but she's doing a stellar job as vice chair of the January 6th Committee. And I also hope that she retains her seat in Congress. We know that a Republican is going to win in Wyoming and I've seen her Republican primary opponents, they're clueless and quoting "the Pillow Guy."
