🖕 Ahhh heck, they don't have to share. Here's another one so they can each have one of their own. 🖕

They have to share this one though 💩 because I don't give two shits about either of them.

Hi, Rhiannon!

Of course, I keep looking at all the campaign signs that have sprung up around here and I cringe. And we're supposed to be a "blue state." What does it take??

10. The State is blue....

because the cities are blue. Rural New York is a different ball of wax though.

You know all that. You live in an area that's fairly purple, pushing red. I live in a red area as well, but in a pocket of blue because it's a College town. I'd go stark raving mad if it wasn't.

Where I lived in Florida it was dead-red, and I couldn't stand it. It drove me 🤪 crazy. I had to move back to New York, which is just the opposite of normal behavior. I've always been a little contrary to ordinary anyway.

Damn, did the summer go fast, or what? It seems like we were just talking about all the summer people getting ready to invade your territory, and WOOOOOOSH! It's over. Seems like summers just fly by and winters last forever.

Take care my friend.

12. I've been seeing a disturbing number of Stefanik signs - often paired with Zeldin!

I had had no idea who Zeldin even was - until I saw some TV ads against him, he's apparently running for governor and the ads say he's a bigot. Figures if the signs are paired with Stefanik's.

And we were always District 20 until 2013, I think. We had Kirsten Gillibrand and then Scott Murphy (whose campaign I worked for, won the first election, lost the second. ) Then we were redistricted, ended up with the North Country, represented by Bill Owens from Plattsburgh, moderate Democrat. It was when he retired that the trouble began - Aaron Woolf, his chosen successor who I liked a lot, lost to Stefanik. There have been protests against her since her very first day, but instead of taking the hint, she's only gotten progressively worse!

And I guess it's good that you got out of Florida - DeSantis and hurricanes, which is worse!

And I sure agree with you, where did the summer go? I have vacillated between having to deal with the tourist traffic and it getting dark so early - right now I'd rather deal with the tourists, but it's a tough call. As for the winter weather, it's no contest!

Thanks for the encouragement and you hang in there, too! *sigh* hi:

With her its all about the money from wealthy Republican donors she's received to stall passage of legislation . She's a fraud.
