stupidity and cluelessness. 
The problem is, these people actually believe they're intelligent and informed. They believe we're "sheep" who are being used by all forms of media.
They don't watch actual news or read verified reports about subjects, but they'll believe some anonymous internet mook named "Q" who spins the most ridiculous conspiracy theories known to humankind. Now that they'll believe.
Now Donald Trump is embracing these lunatics because he's running out of other losers to manipulate. These are the dregs of the Trump barrel. This is it. They're the closest to the ground on the Trumpanzee totem pole.
They make my head hurt.
