Republican Brian Kemp, who is running for Georgia governor and sharing the Republican ticket with Herschel Walker, has implemented extremist policies and laws like signing legislation that restricts access to voting. Stacey Abrams, the Democratic nominee for Georgia governor, encourages Georgia voters to cast votes early to counteract Kemps voter suppression tactics. "I would argue that anyone looking at the totality of Mr. Kemp's history, they know who he is, and they know what he's done," Abrams tells Joy Reid. "Despite the attempt to recast his story... we're going to write a new story on November 8." - Aired on 10/12/2022.

Planning on it. My county has a new posted
marquee in a truck sign highlighting up coming
road work to begin the 17th. Glad to be notified
so one can make that part of the plan now.Too
bad its gonna cause road congestion.
I appreciate msnbc and I have it dialed in
in the car. But I don't have a tv on in the house.
And in '16 or '17 I cut ties with satellite. I had
DTV and I only watched it half of the year at a
time for a decade easily. Like the company.
Just took a pledge so to speak to not watch it as
much.
I'm super glad that you post msnbc though bc
I'm right at home with it and with that, here. I
stick to the late night comedy shows mostly
for tv news. I like that you post Bill M. on the wknds.
Thanks!

(255,525 posts)I know that a lot of DUers don't have cable or don't stay up as late as I do - and some don't have TV. So I started posting MSNBC since that's what I watch, at least the prime time shows. And I'm a huge fan of late night, since it sure helps to have some comedy with our news these days. I've posted Colbert, Bill Maher and John Oliver since 2017 since they're favorites of mine, too, and I know that not everybody here has access to them.
