I have always felt he was not psychotic but a cunning ruthless sociopath who plays everyone.

He has to prove he didn't know right from wrong.
That he didn't understand what he was doing.

But we have lots of evidence he did know what he was doing.
Witnesses and video tape showing he hid stolen documents after the subpoena.
Evidence that he was lying.

If you are lying and hiding things, you know you have done wrong.

Witnesses saying he admitted he lost the election.

Secret phone calls and plans for 1/6.

The list goes on and on.

Also someone who can make all these plans to steal documents and overthrow the government
is not psychotic with disorganized thinking. It takes a rational mind to co-ordinate all of this criminal activity.

"He has to prove he didn't know right from wrong."

Whether it meets a legal bar or not, one thing about sociopaths, they have a poor inner sense of right and wrong and I always believed he was/is a sociopath.

So I was glad to hear about his private admissions that he lost.

They just don't believe the rules apply to them.

They are special and entitled; the rules are only for suckers and losers.

They have no shame, conscience or empathy.

The fact they are secretive and go to great lengths to break the law and avoid consequences show us they
perfectly well know the rules, law, and consequences.

If you interview successful sociopaths they often know the law as well as police and attorneys.
And they give elaborate excuses for their behavior.

Or are very careful to have their associates commit the actual crimes.

Sociopaths certainly do not fit the criterial for NGRI. (not guilty by reason of insanity)

Most experts believe psychopaths and sociopaths share a similar set of traits. People like this have a poor inner sense of right and wrong. They also can’t seem to understand or share another person’s feelings. But there are some differences, too.

A key difference between a psychopath and a sociopath is whether he has a conscience, the little voice inside that lets us know when we’re doing something wrong, says L. Michael Tompkins, EdD. He's a psychologist at the Sacramento County Mental Health Treatment Center.

A psychopath doesn’t have a conscience. If he lies to you so he can steal your money, he won’t feel any moral qualms, though he may pretend to. He may observe others and then act the way they do so he’s not “found out,” Tompkins says.

A sociopath typically has a conscience, but it’s weak. They may know that taking your money is wrong, and they might feel some guilt or remorse, but that won’t stop their behavior.

The difference between psychopaths and sociopaths is controversial.

I firmly believe many sociopaths do not have a conscience.
This comes from my interviews of people sitting in jail.
