The death toll caused by a Russian military jet that crashed into a residential building shortly after taking off near the border with Ukraine has reportedly reached at least 13, according to the Russian news agency Interfax, which cited a senior official.

Video and photographs uploaded to social media on Monday showed a residential building engulfed in flames in Yeysk, a port and resort town in Russia south of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol, across the Sea of Azov.

4. Explosions Before the Crash

When I watch the video, I think I see two explosions on the jet before it crashes into the building (and after it is freeze framed for a few seconds). Malfunction? Ejection charges? Ukrainian meddling? Curious and curiouser.
