queen ann's face should be in that opening. rove behind her and mittshit's face superimposed over hitlers. A fucking historical disaster averted in this century. Thank whatever god is here. It's still funny, though.

I am Jewish. There is NOTHING in American politics that compares to the Nazis.

It's about satire, and it's more versatile than what Charlie Chaplin did in the 30s and no more silly than what Mel Brooks produced in the 60s.

Germans, Jews, little old rich ladies, theater audiences and homosexuals just to name a few, and most of them thought it was funny enough to laugh their asses off. The whole point of comedy is to make people laugh at themselves and at others of whom they may disapprove. That is usually a good thing.

and "campaign" parallels almost sort of makes this work. Shut ins surrounded in their bubbles by crisp & tidy bootlickers all have the same dynamics. Obviously even the worst Republican is not a Nazi. I don't think the video was making that argument.

Not how it actually happened, but pretty damn close I'm sure. Only, I think I envision Ann Romney as the one losing her shit, throwing a glass of milk against the wall, and making her maid clean it up.
