(34,380 posts)It's been different this year. I usually spend a bunch of time driving around in my reflective orange vest pushing candidate signs into the ground on various roads and highways.
This year it's been more meet and greets, phone banking and postcards. Not many candidates even purchased signs this year. I am hopeful but I definitely want it to be over soon.
There's so much at stake and I'm a nervous wreck when I'm not busy. Thirteen days to go!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
