1. A breath of fresh air. Thank you!

When I was in high school, in Bogota, Colombia, we got together with a few other families and rented a weekend place at a lower altitude with a swimming pool to get some relief from the unrelenting chilly, damp, and cloudy Bogota weather. In 1969 I remember there was a truce between the parents and the kids where we would agreed to take turns choosing LPs on the record player by the pool. We played Wheels of Fire (Cream), Electric Ladyland (Hendrix), and The Notorious Byrd Brothers (The Byrds). The middle-aged women who were our mothers just played Tom Jones over and over and over.
