That’s after a three-year investigation by Democrats revealing evidence of possible donations to the Trump campaign in exchange for federal government approval of Arizona real estate deals. Calling this “egregious,” Rep. Katie Porter tells MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, this shows the importance of Congress “reestablishing the rule of law and the expectation that administration officials are going to follow it.”

you take TFGs administration and the recent crop of Rs in Congress on balance. It’s no wonder they project and push the both-siderism meme so much; it’s the only way they can hope to normalize and, by effect, sweep it under the rug and avoid consequences. Or so they think. Voters/the public are increasingly onto them and wary.

9. That is true. It's a toss-up whether these exposures will bring conviction for the same reason.

TFG installed too many federal judges and the DOJ has too many "conservative" partisan employees to allow or effectively prosecute the necessary deep cleaning. (Point in case: 1/6/2021)

Oh, and there's still an intractable block of knuckle draggers in the USSC who generally have zero interest in the will of the people. It's unimaginable they'd have enthusiasm for prosecuting government miscreants unless they're punishing progressives. In that case, no stone would be left unturned.
