Democrats have some learning to do here as well.
No way this race should have been close.
Democrats need to do a few things. One is to invest big time in Public Education, especially in states like Georgia.
They also need to realize, if the GOP had picked moderate candidates, they would have won states like Georgia handily.
Instead of running around proclaiming themselves winners, they should show some contrition and talk about how “lucky” they were.
Their focus should be on asking voters what they want done, not on claiming they are the voter’s chosen ones!

I hadn’t heard a peep about it but there was a primary. They had a normal Republican candidate but they chose the werewolf guy instead.

Almost daily we would treat the emergency room patients hauled in by ambulance or bed of someone's pickup truck who had, minutes prior, uttered the phrase "Hey, Y'all, watch this!!!"
Similar thick-skulled toxic masculinity, empowered with religious misogyny, idiotically simpleton solution proposals to complex issues that don't work...
But they never learn. Twice as many Republicans died of COVID than Dems yet about half the anti-vaxxers remain unconvinced. Dialing the radio here in desolate parts of Arizona there are still anti-vaxx pundits. The rabid anti-masker preacher man physically attacked me in a rural California hospital after asking him to put his mask back on, he had to be physically removed from the premises.
Maddow may be right but I'm forced to agree-- shush!
Let them self destruct.
I ran away from that ilk's self righteous crusade in 1976 for self preservation, now TFG's deplorable base. Alcohol swilling high school dropouts now full blown cultists arming themselves against the anticipated "Antifa" invasion. Of course the gunshot victims are their own alcohol fueled altercations. Now they're shooting power grids.
