I know Gohmert was going to fight hard to authorize the funding they would need, probably many trillions of dollars, and to arrange the planting of trees on the Moon (without which the Forest Service couldn't claim any jurisdiction over the Moon). Still not clear on whether Louie wanted them to move the Moon closer to Earth or further away. Closer would give us more shade, from longer lasting eclipses, but further away would reduce the tides, making sea level rise less of a problem.

Louie is what you call an outside the box thinker, if in this case the box stands for reality.
