unilateral disarmament is utterly dangerous, and after his support of Russian asset Assange, I really don’t care any more what Ellsberg says.

I would gladly reduce the military to pre-WWI/WWII levels and a return to Neutrality (versus Isolationism which is a little different). We can do that easily because we have the nuclear deterrent, no easily accessed invasion routes, and a generally well-armed and competent citizenry. So yes, we can reduce military budget by as much as 75% and still be secure in our borders.

We are smothered and starved by this MIC/War Department budget. We just signed off on another 850 Billion. Every dollar funneled their way in a nation with burgeoning homelessness, hunger, and healthcare crises is a failure of our society.

War is a Racket.
