They did not charge DeWine and his cronies with contempt because they did not want a Constitutional crises, but her battle with him is far from over. He just appointed Joe Deters to the Court whose whole team went to jail, except him. Another dumb move.

7. Oh, Good Grief! Gym Jordan is one of the worst, he doesn't speak, he rants!

And I hold him partially responsible for creating the monster we currently have in NY-21 - Stefanik! She was bad enough, ignoring the protesters that showed up wherever she went rather than listening to them, her constituents! But she really went off the rails and became uncontrollably full of herself after she appeared on national TV alongside Gym Jordan during the impeachment hearings, the second one. Now there's no stopping her, she's full on MAGA - she held a rare phone town hall before the election and I heard afterwards that she blocked anyone who asked the wrong sort of question or didn't agree with her.

And I learned from the husband of my friend who ran for State Senate that she declared victory early on election night at a local Republican gathering and endorsed TFG for 2024 while she was at it! Guess these billboards that went up in the district after the impeachment hearings didn't make an impression. I used to pass this one on my way home:

Stefanick, MTG, Boebart and several more are at the heart of this ignorant Freedom Caucus. So was McCarthy. That group was the main reason John Boehner retired. He was a die hard Republican but could not deal with this bunch of lunatics.

The next 2 years will be fun. It is possible with some sane Republicans we can get a few things done.

But for the rest of us things are looking up as we enter the New Year. Right now the warmth is coming back, my state will be in the upper 50’s today. Rain for the weekend that we need.

A President who makes us proud, edging into FDR territory with his many wins. I read yesterday that, with their wins in state houses and Governorships Democrats are ready to go from defense to offense! They are fighting back!

down to his final breath of air. Never admit to anything, and always, ALWAYS attack, attack, attack, even when those who live in the reality based world know differently.
It worked (at least in his diseased mind's eye) for the despicable Kohn, and Trump will die just as despicably guilty as did his mentor (again, for those who dwell in the reality based world).
Kohn lived, and died, in denial of reality. Trump hasn't lived in the real world his entire life. He lives in a world of his own creation, and he'll die there as well.
There will be no epiphany where he'll have a dying declaration, admitting to all of his lies, and begging forgiveness from everyone he's wronged.
He'll die the pitiful, mentally deranged loser he's always been in life. It's a shame so many easily fooled, equally deranged people, will believe his lies until their final breaths, but that's the appeal of a conman of Trump's caliber. Never admit to anything.
