She'll be about 98 at the end of that term
I have no issue with Feinstein.
But for her to expect another term until she is 98 - that doesn't seem reliable.
Maybe there was a plan for her to step down during her term and Newsom replace her to give an incumbent a better chance in the next election.
If that was in the cards, they might have filled Katie in.
