Let them have their way
Let us do away with the separation of church and state, make the zealots happy in the short run. Turn loose the assessors on every church in the country and send the bill to the supreme court. And start collecting taxes from the zealots. Show Pope Francis the bill for the Catholic Church. Let him suffer vapors. The price of freedom.
Destroying the separation of church and state is not a one way street.
Religious zealots and Republican zealots provide an incredibly undue hardship on freedom and democracy in our country. And they provide it on purpose.
