A Tribute to David Crosby

2. Think Crosby was the voice of my generation.

I got to hear them live once at a Giants game during halftime. Amazing harmonies, even out in the weather they were so damn good it brought tears to my eyes.

3. I Will Never Forget!

I will never forget their song dedicated to the students at Kent State. This was a watershed event for me and gave me a radical perspective that I will always carry.

Is where my liberal journey began. My political awakening.

4. They were more influential...

To me as a young teenager than the Beatles were when they arrived. CSNY were one of the groups that merged incredible and accurate harmonies to contemporary styles of the times. They addressed social conditions in song and had great influence with them. Their musicianship, individually and collectively, has been inspirational to more than just a couple generations of Americans.

I will always be listening to and loving the works of this group and each individual in it for the rest of my days.

7. Me too. First heard them when I was 8. Loved them with all my heart ever since. ❤️❤️❤️

There is no other group more central to the formation of my beliefs and values.

I have been weeping for two days now and don’t see an end in sight.

I was lucky to be born into the world that had David Crosby and CSN in it.
