Many people find themselves in that exact situation. Our society must have empathy and understanding.

We don't have sane laws regarding death in this country because the people who will tell you at length how much moire they love Jesus than you do are the ones who least want to meet him, Christians and their clergy fighting right to die and assisted suicide laws tooth and nail before and after they get passed.

This poor guys should have been offered a nice safe and sane way out of a life that had become a painful burden. Instead, the wife he loved and who loved him will be facing a murder charge because this is Florida and Florida is headed by de Satan and that asshole will want to make an example of her, make her wish she'd pulled that trigger on herself.

In the past, I've seen DAs refuse to charge the surviving spouse because a jury would never convict him or her. I doubt that would be allowed now. De Satan is too busy grandstanding to the fundagelicals for that.
