Who is Zelensky?

My own feelings are that Zelensky was extremely fortunate in his predecessor, who appealed to the west in building the Ukrainian military practically from the ground up and that Zelensky has until 2030. After that, he'll turn into what Ukraine is fighting against, a politician who's been in office too long and is surrounded by a bunch of self serving yes men who tell him what he wants to hear while robbing the country blind. I hope it won't happen, that he retires a hero. Countries need heroes, warts and all.

1. You know, I think it's hard to judge this man right now. He is under tremdous pressure and need.

His country is truly looking to him for guidance and survival. For anyone to predict how this moves forward is just plan hubris. There is no way to tell how Zelensky will respond in the future. Right now he's Ukraine's answer to Putin and what an answer. He obviously really, really cares about his people. What happens in the future we will have to see.

4. I'll give it a shot: He doesn't give a shit about judgment. He wants to save his country, and

he is doing everything he can do. He also protects other countries from a Putin terrorist invasion. Ukranians are dying and watching their cities crumble and Russians commit horrendous war crimes. He needs no judgement; he needs weapons to succeed.
