4. In Mary Trump's book, she said that State was pretty much decimated under his leadership

There were so many resignations and few applications, destroying continuity "for a generation." Not to mention, few of our allies wanted to meet with him.

7. I have both of her books, got them on audio (read by the author) and listen to them in my car

The first one mainly covers family history - how his parents caused TFG to turn out as he did - and the second is more political, goes into U.S. history and her uncle's abysmal administration. For the second, it's obvious she did a great deal of research. I recommend both highly.

book yet. I have it, but it's in the backlog to read. I can only take so much.

What frosts me is that Pompeo was first in the graduating class of West Point in 86. How these guys violet there oath is beyond me.

Both were read by the authors which makes it a little more personal and I don't have to find the time to open a book. Keeps me company in my car and I learn something, too.

As for Pompeo, from the book, he did not make friends or influence people. He planned on taking a "victory tour," but no U.S. allies wanted to meet with him.

12. As I said above, his term decimated the State Department

According to Mary Trump's book, there were record resignations and few applications, destroying continuity "for a generation." He also planned a "victory tour" which he had to cancel since none of our allies wanted to meet with him.

Shows what a disreputable human this is for him to sanction the brutal murder of an American journalist. And to sell books?!
