(31,158 posts)Law can be extremely complicated which is why they cover things in detail. It's very educational compared to most regular audit sites and they often chastise auditors for getting stuff wrong but more often they criticize the police. One way to watch the channel if you don't want to listen to all the law details is to watch the beginning, skip to the police camera footage to get a basic idea of what is going on, then skip to the end to see what grade he gives everyone.
It's a very important channel.

The cop who perpetuated the assault is guilty and it occurs to him that he's screwed, which is why he just wants it all to go away.
The officer in the patrol car is also part of the problem, looking to protect his colleague regardless of evidence. You can only imagine how much of this crap still goes on when there is no video as proof and how it was prevalent for decades before video became so common.

(31,158 posts)The title of the video literally says "Cop defends citizen". That channel hits both sides, often ripping the auditor for being misinformed about the law. Also, most police auditors are very conservative but that doesn't mean they are wrong on this issue. They are educating the general public about their rights so they keep the cops on their toes and afraid to do things that are unconstitutional now.

(3,215 posts)I think you're confusing what may appear to you as a general bias against police misfeasance here with what, in this case, is clearly an informative look at a cop's inexcusable and rogue action against a citizen. An action that could have ended in tragedy.
Actually, the video shows 2 out of 3 cops who behave rationally (even rates them as such!) and only one of the three who needs to be disciplined and closely watched by his superiors.
