I have late night TV on and it's a Dragnet episode from 1970. To insult somebody, one guy just said to another "I'll bet you vote straight Republican - and in your closet you have a sheet with eyeholes!"

Remember that politician, something Wallace, I think... huge, overt racist & his political aspirations went down the drain immediately for it.

Because back then, people had an expectation of integrity & the concept that public servants were to serve all the people was popular. Now, since Obama left office, it's just ridiculous.

I remember when he ran for president as a third party candidate with Nixon and Humphrey. At the time, my teacher said that she didn't care if it was Humphrey or Nixon - as long as it wasn't that Wallace!
